Our Shipping & Delivery Policy

Local Delivery

Manor House Cellar proudly offers FREE local delivery for Manhattan residents in zip codes 10003, 10010, 10011, 10013. For orders of $100 or more, we offer free delivery in Manhattan, NY. Local deliveries are made during the business hours usually within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the order. Special consideration can be made for Corporate Orders, parties and events outside of our normal delivery area. All other orders will be shipped via our common carrier, UPS or picked up at the store.

An adult must be present to receive all local or Manhattan delivery orders, we will usually call ahead to arrange a delivery time.

Shipping Policy

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcohol. By placing an order you represent to The Manor House Cellar that you are at least 21. An adult signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left.  We cannot deliver alcohol to PO Boxes or APO addresses. 

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday via UPS. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. You will receive an email from us confirming your order along with the scheduled shipment date and a subsequent email with your tracking number.  Most orders will be shipped within 24 hours of placement. Please allow up to two business days for your order to be processed.

All shipments are insured for the full value of its contents. During times of extreme heat or cold, we can hold your purchase until the weather event has passed, and we can ensure safer travel. If you choose to ship your package during an extreme weather event, we cannot assume responsibility for the condition of your delivery. 

We can only accept return of goods that are defective in quality.  Restocking fees may apply, including return shipping costs. Any wines that are five years or older at purchased at the Buyer’s risk and not subject to refund or return.  

Shipping and handling charges are not included in the cost of our wines. Additional handling charges may be incurred for any special packaging requests (i.e. wooden boxes, larger bottles). Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. 

The Manor House Cellar is not responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors or omissions. 

Shipping States:  

Currently, we ship wine within New York State, the District of Columbia and the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming . If you wish to have wine shipped anywhere else in the United States, please contact us at master@manorhousecellar.com for the latest interstate ABC shipping policies.

If you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, or if you received the wrong merchandise, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.  Once the merchandise is returned to us, we can send you a new shipment. No cash, credit or store credit can be issued.
